Self Love club is a powerful and engaging workshop developed to benefit teenage girls.
The workshop has a focus on how and why we need to love ourselves more!
Most girls and young women of today feel under extreme pressure from both themselves, their peers and society at large.
Social media adds to these pressures as well and we have found that conversations and awareness building around these topics are crucial, so that young women can build resilience and confidence to be themselves.
“I FEEL SO MUCH STRONGER AFTER THIS EXPERIENCE AS I’M NOT FEELING ALONE IN THE DAILY BATTLE ANYMORE’ , Self Love Club attendee (16 years old).
The program is designed as an antidote to the modern day pressures that young women are facing… Providing them with some relief from the many challenges they experience around body image and self worth, which is magnified so extensively by social media and the ever growing perfectionism trend.
We have have found that this workshop has the capability to inspire growth and profound positive change.
As the young women begin to understand their importance in this world, their confidence will grow.
The positive ripple effects from this experience may allow them become more focused and determined students, as well as more generous, kind and supportive to themselves and to one another.
