10 days until the Byron Bay Surf Festival and counting! The girls of FD HQ eagerly await for the BBSF program to kick off – starting with an Art exhibition featuring Tim Kerr, Otis Carey and, world famous surfer, Ozzie Wright, on the 23rd. Here’s more of the program the HQ is most excited about.
Later that afternoon, the renown Sunset Cinema of Denning Park will present an outdoor screening of BBSF’s surprise feature film. Be sure to grab some friends, a picnic and blanket to enjoy the togetherness of our lucky shire as the sun sets over the hinterland.
The following day, the Surf Art Markets open with a bright and early Yoga session! Stay behind for an Acro Yoga session followed by a talk on philosophy and the significance of yoga. The Surf Art Markets showcase many and various stalls of craftsmen, artists, designers, musicians, food and activism workshops. Creativity and inspiration will prosper in every corner as the memorable weekend continues for just one more day.
Said to be the most highly anticipated, the 25th involves the packing of plentiful picnics and swimmers, friends, music and the best of vibes at BBSF’s non-competitive surf event held at our favourite, Wategoes Beach.
I think it’s safe to say we cant wait for the events to unfold. As we know, Byron Bay Surf Festival never fails to impress.
